or suppporting any group. organizations with (*) next to it are
organizations that we or an employee here has worked/volunteered
with or for, directly in the past. faq:
1. why should i join a non profit group?
non profits gain strenth through numbers of members. when they
lobby congress/etc. they can say "we have xxx number of people
who feel this way".
2.what can i do? become a member/educate/canvass,
each org website will have a place to volunteer.
3. are these listed groups the best?
we think highly of them, but there are hundreds of thousands
of excellent non-profit groups. listed above are ones we have become
